Carry Conceled Instructor Course 10-30-2010

FLES Master Instructor, John A. Oaks articulates qualification standards in obtaining a passing score during the live fire portion of the course to Veronica Woodin and Kevin Felton. The two drove about a hour to attend the course. They are planning on starting a training business in 2011. We appreciate the trust in FLES to assist them in obtaining the Instructor Certificate.

Here Kevin Felton qualifies on the firing range.
Kevin is a Missouri POST Certified Officer. Kevin states what he liked
about this course is he not only obtained his Instructor Certificate but
he also obtained 4 hours Skill Development Firearms and 4 hours Legal
Continuing Education Unites mandated by the State of Missouri.
This is something that most CCW courses DO NOT offer. FLES has several
courses that are POST certified. Check out the POST page for more
details.

Veronica proves that handgun control is essential is shot placement. She insist it has to be her and not her GLOCK.

FLES Master Instructor Larry Griffey scores Kevin Felton's target as he qualifies during the Firearm Instructor test portion of the course.

"I was nervous as can be before I got here for the class. I
was absolutely impressed with the class and the detailed information you
provided. I had tried to find information on line about the CCW
classes on line and was completely lost. John and Larry made this
experience for me very very enjoyable. I feel very comfortable
with my firearm. Thank you both so much. You'll be seeing me
in some more of your other class's" Laela Holden

FLES conducts CCW course in Pattonsburg, MO on April 5, 2008. The majority in attendance were Detention Officers from Daviess/DeKalb Counties Regional Jail. From left to right, FLES Master Instructor Larry L. Griffey, Wendell Roberts and FLES Master Instructor John A. Oaks. The class was held at the Regional Jail and the range qualification was conducted at Kyle Cornett's property. FLES appreciates Mr. Cornett's support and the use of his property for this course. The officers in attendance went above and beyond the training provided by the Regional Jail when they attended the class at their expense. All officers did a great job in contributing to the classroom portion and successfully passed with ease the State's requirement for qualification at the range.
