Women’s Self Defense
This course is designed to provide information to today’s busy women
about personal safety. This
is a four hour course. The
first hour we will discuss alternative ways of personal safety in the
home, at work, out shopping, etc.
The second and third hour we will discuss and practice escapes
from various holds such as the “choke hold, “bear huge”, and more.
The final hour will review and answer questions.

Carry Concealed Weapons
Endorsement Training
This class is offered to those who wish to posses a valid endorsement to
carry a firearm concealed.
FLES will provide the necessary information mandated by the State of
This is an 8 (eight) hour course.
Four hours will be classroom training and four hours range time.
Equipment Needed: Revolver
and Semi Automatic Handgun - You will need a minimum of 25 rounds of
ammunition for each weapon for the practical exercise and a minimum of
20 rounds for qualifying with the weapon of your choice.
Eye and Ear protection mandatory.
Should you not have a revolver/semi auto or ammunition, FLES will
provide for a reasonable fee.
FLES will have extra Eye and Ear protection at the range; however
you are encouraged to bring your own.
This course is POST approved.
Four hours skill development firearms and four hours legal.

Instructor Certification: Law Enforcement Officer: $250.00 (POST

Civilian Instructor Certification:
$275.00.
A nonrefundable fee of $75.00 is required to reserve a seat for the
class, as seating is limited.
On the day of certification, and prior to the class room
instruction, the balance for the training is due in full.
Instructor fee’s are non refundable and shall be paid in full in
advance.

Low Light/No Light Firearms
Training
This course is designed to meet the required four
hours of skill development firearms as mandated by the State of
Equipment Needed: Eye and ear protection.
Minimum of 40 rounds of ammunition, duty belt or holster, handgun
and an illumination device either weapon mounted or hand held.

Surviving Edged Weapons
This course deals with surviving knife attacks along
with other edged weapons.
This is an excellent course for any level of law enforcement.
Note:
This course is POST approved for one hour legal, one hour
interpersonal, one hour skill development, and one hour technical.

Use of Informants
Sworn officers of Law Enforcement are encouraged to
use informants to enhance their ability to complete investigations of
criminal activity. At the end of this course, officers will understand
how to better use informants.

Hate Crimes
At the end of this course, officers will know the
definition of hate crime, and know the laws according to Missouri about
hate crimes. Law Enforcement Officers, school teachers and
community leaders will have a better understanding of what "hate crimes"
are about, the effects of those it violates, and much more.
